Comments about Alexandria - King St

Alexandria/Brad Lee Center (Submitted by PK)

This is generally a good and family friendly neighborhood--there are a lot of young families around here with young children. This location is not only close to DC (about 15-20 minutes by car) but it's near a lot of convenient shops in Alexandria, such as Safeway, Trader Joe's, Barnes & Noble, World Market, and only about 3 miles from Old Town Alexandria. I have occasionally been bothered by a stranger if walking by myself at night but I think that's bound to happen even in the best of neighborhoods sometimes.

Lovely old (1947) neighborhood of condo/rental townhomes on the border of Alexandria and Arlington, VA. Close to everything, but surprsingly secluded to do 60 year old trees through out. Mix of young professionals, retirees, and their dogs. Fantastic!
