Comments about Alexandria Lincolnia

Orleans Village (Submitted by cdj)

4500 Southland Ave. Exit 3B (395)/Little River Trnpk Alexandria VA These apartments are somewhat affordable and the outside appearance looks nice however, as a resident you end up "paying" in other ways. I am extremely adamant about peace & quiet and you hardly get this at this property. For example, there are ice cream vendors that enter the property numerous times of the day ringing bells and playing loud music trying to attract customers. The property does not "No soliciting" signs installed/displayed so its a free-for-all for outsiders. Another annoyance is residents constantly ride around blaring music from their cars. Also, residents constantly throw trash on the ground and will put trash next to the dumpster instead of putting it inside the dumpster which makes everything so unsightly! Also, resident's guests honk their horns to try to get the attention of the residents instead of parking in the visitor's parking and walking to the resident's home. That is so annoying! There are constantly car alarms going off and owners don't respond to turn them off in an acceptable amount of time. I have only been living here for almost 2 months and have already written the property owner requesting a release from my lease. Its a long shot but I am simply not happy there. I do not recommend living at this property.
