This is very quiet neigbhorhood without a lot of traffic. It is an ideal and safe place to raise children. There is a community pool that is available to all residents (for a fee), which has a lot of activities in the summer. It is about 7 minutes from 495 and about 10 minutes to INOVA Fairfax Hospital. There are a lot of parks within walking distance. It was a nice neighborhood to grow up in. A lot of the neibhors have been there for years!! One drawback to this neighborhood is that Beech Tree is the Elementary School, which then feeds into 2 or 3 Middle Schools, and if you attend Poe Middle School, that again splits and feeds into 3 high schools. It is difficult to lose and make friends so often!

truro is all about lifestyle- well treed neighborhood with trails thru-out- 2 sections- one with contemporary homes and the other with the more traditional brick construction - great pool and tennis club with swim team- great location just outside the beltway off little river turnpike exit - can get anywhere pretty quickly- great schools with the Woodson HS pyramid

Willow Woods is a quiet neighborhood located just outside the Beltway off of Little River Turnpike, older brick homes,style of homes vary from Colonials to split foyers and split levels and a few ramblers, many of the homes are still occupied by orginal or long time owners but they are turning over to younger families each day - great neughborhood for families as a result with a highly regarded school pyramid ending up with Frost middle school and Woodson high school - Willow Woods and Annandale generally is a great location in that you are centrally located in Northern Virginia resulting in a short drive to pretty much anywhere in the County - quick access to Beltway with Rte 66, Dulles Access Rd and Shirley Highway (Rte 95) just a few exits in either direction - closest Metro is Dun Loring straight down on Propserity Ave and the light rail system to DC is only 10 minutes away in Burke
