Comments about Chevy Chase

Hawthorne (Submitted by LMH)

It's like living next to Central Park, only better. We are a 5 minute walk to the creek, tennis courts, basketball courts, playground, soccer and baseball fields and the Red Dog Cafe. We can walk or bike from our house, along the path in Rock Creek Park all the way to Rockville or Mount Vernon. Plus, Hawthorne, part of Chevy Chase, has a long tradition of neighorly gatherings and friendliness. We watch out for each others' kids. It's a great mix of traditional and contemporary houses.
