Comments about Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle (Submitted by HG)

I love it! It feels so safe -- a great small part of a bigger city. I have my gym, cleaners, farmers market all within a 5 block radius - it is like a small town instead of a city. My neighbors are so friendly and we all care about each other in my building. We're diverse in terms of age but accepting and protecting. I love my location because I can be in Adams Morgan, Georgetown, Downtown -- in 5 minutes! Or Arlington Cemetary, downtown, the Mall etc. in 10 miuntes. Or anything in the whole city in 10 minutes. Or I could walk anything on a good night!

Living in DC in Dupont Circle is the best of everything in terms of living in DC. Restaurants, bars, grocery stores, Metro and other easy transportation - everything is within a few blocks. There is a real sense of community, and there is usually something fun going on in the actual Dupont Circle too - impromptu bands, entertainment, even chess tournaments in the summer.
