Comments about Fairfax, VA

fair oaks estates (Submitted by SC)

generally a quiet neighborhood range or young families and older, lots of kids community pool a source of social interaction but not a lot of whole community events walking paths and 2 tot lots feel very safe walking in neighborhood alone monthly homeownership newsletter keeps you informed of events/changes 2 main roads are fairly busy traffic, but there are lots of cul de sac roads with few cars homeownership rules taken seriously and enforced not a lot of community interaction, but most people seems polite and helpful

Foxfield (Submitted by SS)

The neighborhood has an excellent community feel, with courteouos people. This may stem from the nearby montesory, elementary, and middle school. The wooded areas seem to surround the community providing a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of room for outdoor activities.

Linden at Fair Ridge (Submitted by SMV)

Condo life is grand at Linden at Fair Ridge on Fort Buffalo Circle. Beautifully landscaped with attractive exteriors and spacious interiors and most units in the community have some sort of tree coverage. The community backs to the Fairfax Towne Center shopping center and the is a quick walk to get a Starbucks, groceries at Safeway, Pizza at Pomodoros (best pizza in Northern, VA) see a movie at the theatre, and there are many more. The location is spectacular as you are a quick hop onto to the FFX Cty Parkway, Rte 50 or Rte 66. Very close to the new Fairfax Corner as well and Costco is just down the street. Nice Pool and tennis courts as well.
