Sleepy Hollow (Submitted by VKC)
Sleepy Hollow is a wonderful neighborhood hidden in and amongst the bustle of Northern Virginia. The average lot size is about a half acre, maybe slightly larger, with some as large as two or three acres; there are plenty of old-growth trees. The people are a nice mixture of older, retired couples, young families with babies, and everyone in between. Sleepy Hollow has a very strong community with an active Neighborhood Watch program, an annual Halloween parade (with a band!), a spring and fall picnic, wine and cheese socials, an annual Easter Egg Hunt - lots of ways to meet neighbors and to get involved. Sleepy Hollow is close to Seven Corners Shopping Center, though not quite walking distance - this means easy access to a grocery store, the Post Office, Home Depot, and Barnes and Noble bookstore, among others. The originial houses were mostly built in the 1940s and the neighborhood shows a wide variety of architectural designs - no "cookie cutter" suburb here!

Roundtree Park area (Submitted by RGR)
My wife and I love it here. We find it close to everything, including DC. I currently commute to Tysons Corner and it is a very easy commute. We would recommend this area to everyone.

A wonderful, small, "hidden" community inside the beltway with a Falls Church mailing address but part of Fairfax County. Extremely quiet with odd "Fraklyn-Lloyd-Wright-goes-to-Hollywood-on-the-cheap" mid-1950s homes - and I mean that in a positive way. Located off Annandale Rd. (by Graham).
