Construction continues on the Rockville Town Center, located at the corner of Rockville Pike and Beall Avenue. Throughout the area, such towncenters have added excitement to the local area. We predict that this will be the case in Rockville as well. Initial elements will open in late 2006 with the grand opening to occur in 2007.

The big draw for a lot of people to the area (and the reason we moved here) is Cloverly Elementary School, hence the area stays relatively "young". It is the highest ranked elementary school in all of Eastern Montgomery, and is at same level as the high ranking Western Montgomery schools. The neighborhood is typically suburban - Columbia mall 15 minutes away, downtown Silver spring is close, and there are plenty of the standard strip centers. However, for being so close in there is still a surprising number of active farms and horse farms close by so you don't have to go too far to feel like you are in the country. Overall, we think this is a great community.
