Woodley/ClevelandPark (Submitted by LS)
A great in-city neighborhood close to attractions such as the National Zoo and National Cathedral. Being on the Red Line Metro, it offers quick access to downtown D.C. There are numerous shops and dining options within close walking distance. There are also many children's parks and public/private schools, which makes it a good place to raise a family.

Woodley Park (Submitted by A)
Balance of Uptown living in a wooded setting -- close to evrything. Mix of DCites, Urban seekers, government workers, International ex pats, and transient workers.

Kalorama (Submitted by MS)
I lived in the neighborhood for 6 years and loved it for many reasons: 1. It is quiet, clean, and elegant. 2. It is only two or three blocks from the much more active and interesting neighborhoods of Adams Morgan and DuPont Circle. 3. It is a pleasant walk from the business center of NW DC.
Drawbacks? It is a long walk to the nearest Metro. Street parking is very difficult.
